Peter Gabriel in GelreDome XS

Peter Gabriel, accompanied by a symphony orchestra, will on Friday 17 September perform in GelreDome XS in Arnhem. This concert forms part of his New Blood tour that follows the release of his recent ‘Scratch My Back’ album. Ticket sales for this concert start on Friday 11 June at 10.00 hrs.

‘Scratch My Back’ is the 8th studio album of Gabriel and consists entirely of covers. These songs are interpreted by Gabriel in his own unique manner with a modern-classic accompaniment, without guitar and drums. The album not only features songs from big names like David Bowie, Paul Simon and Lou Reed, Gabriel also reinterprets songs from young acts like a Bon Iver, Arcade Fire and Elbow.

In March, Peter Gabriel, backed by a 52-piece orchestra, gave a concert in London, Paris and Berlin, which were very well received both by the press and public. Bolstered by this success, Gabriel decided to organise a short European tour. During the concert in Arnhem, Gabriel will not only play tracks from the album, but will also perform his own big hits with the same exceptional musical accompaniment.
