Food and Drinks

Turn your visit to GelreDome for a pop concert, sports event or party into a complete day out. Come to GelreDome well before the event is due to begin, and enjoy an incredibly tasty dinner on one of the heated terraces situated along its 600-metre-long covered promenade. Drink a toast with your friends in GelreDome’s exceptional ambience.

Food
GelreDome offers a highly varied range of mouth-watering cuisine: Oriental wok dishes, genuine Italian pizza or Mexican tortillas, but also baguettes and ciabatta rolls sumptuously filled with herb cheese, ham off the bone or tuna salad. These dishes are all prepared using fresh, high quality ingredients. However, old favourites, such as chips, croquettes and hot snacks including sausage rolls, bapao and hamburgers are also a particularly tasty experience at GelreDome. As because no dinner is complete without dessert, we also have countless flavours of ice cream, yoghurt shakes and fresh fruit salads.

Beverages
The bar at GelreDome offers a range of beverages, depending on the type of event in question. A well-rounded red or subtle white wine, freshly pulled Heineken lager or a delicious mix of Bacardi and coke. We naturally also serve soft drinks, including fresh orange and other fruit juices. Coffee, cappuccino, tea and hot chocolate are also available at GelreDome, together with delicious fresh, warm cakes.

Payment
Payment takes place using tokens at GelreDome. These can be purchased from vending machines and cash desks outside, along the promenade and inside the hall itself, using either cash or PIN. The tokens remain valid for one event only. Separate tokens can be purchased for the local football club, Vitesse’s, league matches, which remain valid throughout the season.

Region Arnhem Nijmegen

GelreDome is not Arnhem’s only claim to fame. As the capital of the Dutch province of Gelderland Arnhem wrote history during Operation Market Garden in 1944. Every two years, Arnhem also plays host to the world of haute couture, during the Arnhem Fashion Biennial. Furthermore, artists from the four corners of the globe congregate in Arnhem annually to take part in the World Living Statues Championship. Arnhem is also the ideal destination for shopaholics. In September 2007, Arnhem was voted ‘The Netherlands’ Best City Centre 2007-2009’. Moreover, Arnhem is just a stone’s throw from Nijmegen, a city that also has a great deal to offer in the area of shopping, nightlife and cultural attractions.
